If you have a Black screen please install DirectX 9c June sdk 2010 if still black screen after this your netframe work is corrupt or faulty you will atleast need 3.5 & 4.0 installed and enabled
 
Your GFX card must also be able to run Dedicated  DirectX 9c Applications
